Marco Rubio is running for president, and I think we all owe him our thanks for not beating around the bush (pun not intended…?) when it comes to his intentions:
He doesn’t leave much to the imagination, does he?
If PNAC doesn’t ring a bell, then surely the cast of characters associated with it will. Co-founded by Bill Kristol and Robert Kagen, PNAC’s other “founding members” included Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld, JEB Bush, Norman Podhoretz, and Paul Wolfowitz. At one time or another it included luminaries like John Bolton, Richard Perle, Charles Krauthammer, Scooter Libby, Elloitt Abrams, and Max Boot. In short, everybody who was anybody in steering American foreign policy in a more violent and less effective direction since the end of the George H.W. Bush administration either passed through PNAC or has been mentored by PNAC alumni. I guess there’s no mystery about where Marco Rubio’s foreign policy will take us.
