Well, I guess we now know what you have to do to get booted from Tucker Carlson’s Daily Caller (Motto: “Making NewsMax Look Like Reputable Journalism Since 2010”): write a column that bashes Fox News for not being xenophobic enough.
Note that it wasn’t Mickey’s ongoing effort to reinvent himself as a front-pager for Stormfront that wound up causing all this drama (seriously, coming at Fox on immigration from the right?); no, it was his decision to target the last remaining cable channel willing to put Tucker Carlson on air. So on some level Kaus actually comes out of this looking more ethical than Carlson, which I grant you is not a high bar, but still.
